The ‘GDF Surprise Shopping on May Day’ campaign includes an array of promotional activities and shopping discounts in a bid to boost consumption and promote Hainan’s burgeoning duty-free sector.

The promotion comes hot on the heels of the travel retailer’s successful participation at the 4th China International Consumer Goods Expo (Hainan Expo) where it attracted high foot traffic and boosted sales, the company said.
