Not every wedding is a dream come true. In fact, rarely can events that simultaneously cause so much stress and anxiety result in a blissful moment. At the end of the day, much of the reasoning behind this is our own fault. Culturally, we put way too much emphasis on the need to have the perfect time at your wedding while making both parties equally happy. It’s an impossible task, so why do we keep doing this to ourselves?
These folks understand all too well that weddings are just as likely to spin out of control as they are to go your way. Unfortunately, those involved discovered this reality after the fact. Some of these fiascos include a kid who refused to attend the wedding in anything other than a lion’s outfit, a couple who insisted all guests give gifts over $250, and a guy who arranged for a literal llama to be present at his sister’s wedding.
