The fast-growing New Zealand gin brand is deepening its commitment to sustainability through an innovative bottle recycling campaign.

The distiller is challenging consumers across New Zealand, Australia and the US to repurpose their gin bottle as a vase, water carafe or decorative item. Consumers who plan to reuse their bottle as a lantern can get free fairy lights when they purchase a bottle of Strange Nature (valid while stocks last).

As part of its sustainability credentials, Strange Nature selects ethically sourced ingredients from a sustainable vineyard, to produce a natural, grape-based gin. It also introduced its bottle recycling programme in New Zealand, collecting bottles back from bars and restaurants across the country.

As reported, Strange Nature has been making rapid inroads in New Zealand and Australian duty free. ✈
